“White Liar” Is Not Only Miranda’s First Number One…

Brad, a writer for Music City TV, posted a great article about Natalie Hemby yesterday:

“One of my fave singers-songwriters in town is

Natalie Hemby, who, among other things, was awesome last night at the Bluebird Cafe.

Natalie has cuts with Carrie Underwood (the title track on Play On), Lee Ann Womack and Eli Young Band.

Her first country radio single, though, is Miranda Lambert’s White Liar – and that means Natalie scored her first No. 1 song with her very first single.

And turns out Natalie helped make it a No. 1 at radio.

“I was calling radio stations late at night… into the final hours,” Natalie says in a statement.

“Even if it wasn’t my song, I wanted this so bad for Miranda. She deserved a No. 1 because she’s so talented and wonderful and such a good girl.”

You too, Nat. Mazel tov.”
