You may remember Shane Stockton – the late ’90s found him well on his way to country music stardom with a major label deal and a full length release, “Stories I Could Tell,” every song on which he wrote. In 1999, Decca merged with MCA, and Shane became one of many whose contract was lost in the transition. He moved back to Texas and has since become a very successful preacher. Shane has recently picked up the guitar and started songwriting again. Now, as a writer for Carnival, he comes to Nashville regularly for co-writing and demo sessions. We at Carnival are excited about what the future holds for Shane Stockton’s second time around.
