Eric Wilson

Eric Wilson

Eric Wilson is a vivid storyteller. His songs’ subjects range from the Civil War, coal, and cannons to longing, love, and home. It seems that an instinct to write songs began to gel when his grandfather gave him a guitar at age 13. Wilson says, “I started writing and playing at the same time. I never played unless I was writing.”  Wilson and his band have been steadily drawing crowds in the southeast for the past few years, and he is now signed on with Carnival Music as both a songwriter and an artist. Eric writes regularly with songwriters from Nashville and elsewhere, including Jason White, Jill Cunniff (of Luscious Jackson), and Natalie Hemby.
